Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician for the Behavioral Health Department at Newton Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning & delivery of clinical services including group, individual & family counseling, skill building psychoeducation & therapeutic activities groups, discharge planning.
Provides case management services (information, referral, linkage, advocacy, monitoring) & crisis intervention as appropriate.
Thorough, timely clinical documentation. Participation in treatment team & supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Masters or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field
Minimum Experience:
2+ years experience in outpatient behavioral health setting strongly preferred, Acute Partial/Intensive Outpatient setting is a plus
License/Certifications:
NJ licensure in mental health field (social work, counseling, etc. - LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW)
