Social Worker is assigned to the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) within the Mental Health Care Line at TVHS. The BHIP is a robust interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, psychologists, case managers, RNs, and peer support specialists. Social workers are expected to complete intakes and provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups. VA offers opportunities for advanced training in evidence-based psychotherapies. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
