The New Mexico VA Healthcare Network is recruiting for a Senior Social Worker assigned the Emergency Department. The incumbent will provide services to Veterans referred to the Emergency Department. The incumbent will assess inpatient medicine/surgery admissions for screening, discharge planning, and assist with urgent or crisis related issues during off hours and weekends. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
