The AVAHS operates Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Fairbanks, Kenai, and Wasilla, Juneau and Homer. The ACOS/MH is responsible for coordination and administration of Mental Health services across these facilities, as well as any future sites of care. The ACOS/MH is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating mental health services within the AVAHS, to include integrating mental health services within the Primary Care Patient Aligned Care Teams. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
