Job SummaryThe Hospital Recovery Coordinator will function as a liaison between Harris Health Systems and Harris County Public Health-Hospital Violence Interruption Program (HVIP). The Hospital Recovery Coordinator will facilitate the collaborative multidisciplinary process of therapeutic case management encompassing trauma-informed care, assessments, and planning to empower patients hospitalized due to violent intentional injuries. The Hospital Recovery Coordinator will be responsible for the provision of intensive crisis intervention, ongoing advocacy, and case management to victims and survivors of violent intentional injury and their families/support network during hospitalization
