Position Summary: The Mental Health Therapist-SUD-PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of mental health and substance abuse dependency counseling and case management services to an identified client population. This position maintains a client caseload, following established treatment guidelines and agency policies and procedures. Provides therapeutic intervention in a variety of treatment modalities, with emphasis on substance use issues, individually matched to the needs of each client. Provides referrals to other services and programs in the community, as needed. Actively advocates on behalf of the client. Incumbent will be required to participate in an on-call schedule and perform scheduled work outside of normal business hours.
Minimum Requirements: Previous experience providing mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling services preferredEducation/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health related field or 4 years of directly applicable work experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeMust obtain Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration upon hireCurrent Washington State Driver's License: proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.
