Registered Nurse Acute Dialysis Days 20K Signing Bonus

The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse will apply the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. As a Dialysis RN, you will effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
$20,000 sign on bonus for eligible new hires paid at 60 days of employment. Rehires who have worked for VUMC in a full time job in the past year would not be eligible for the signing bonus. PRN and full time rehires are eligible for the bonus after the 1 year waiting period.
Unit Summary :
The Dialysis Unit, also known as the Acute Hemodialysis/Apheresis Unit, provides supportive therapies for Adult and Pediatric patients who are being treated for many diagnoses, requiring continuous and intermittent hemodialysis procedures as well as therapeutic apheresis, including therapeutic plasmapheresis, leukapheresis, LDL apheresis, therapeutic red cell exchanges, and platelet depletions. Our patients are unique because of they of their vast diagnoses and varied treatments.
The unit is comprised of eight beds including two isolation rooms. The patient ratio is 1:1 or 2:1. Remote procedures are performed at the patient's bedside based on acuity level.
One of the perks of working on this unit is the collaboration within our multi-disciplinary team. Together our team of nurses, providers, management, case managers, and social workers provide each patient the treatment they require.
