Social Worker Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (SARRTP)
The Residential Social Worker is responsible for case management and discharge planning for Veteran patients on one of three VAMHCS residential programs. The Perry Point residential treatment programs include a 20 bed homeless domiciliary, a 71 bed Psychosocial Rehabilitation Residential Treatment Program (PRRTP), and a 60 bed Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Residential Treatment Program (SARRTP). The Social Worker provides assistance with planning for housing at discharge, securing local, State and/or Federal benefits as necessary, and aftercare transportation needs. The Social Worker may be required to transport the Veteran in the community in order to secure these needs.
