As the program coordinator of facility-wide social work student and staff programs for SAVAHCS, the Social Work Quality Management and Education (QM/E) Program Coordinator has broad responsibility for all accreditation and social work quality requirements related to Social Work practice. You will oversee recruitment and select and train staff social workers to serve as Agency Field Instructors and/or Task Supervisors. Developing, implementing, and maintaining a QM/E training handbook for reference Creating and presenting facility-wide multidisciplinary education on topics of expertise (i.e. professional boundaries, ethics, practice, etc.) Overseeing the Advanced Clinical Licensure Supervision Program, to include providing training and oversight of staff working towards clinical licensure Working in a variety of specialty areas as needed, such as the Medical Foster Home Program, or other areas within Social Work Service Independently providing clinical psychosocial treatment and case management services at an advanced practice level to eligible Veterans and their family members Delivering education related to VA and community resources, entitlements/benefits, Advance Directives/Living Will and referring Veterans/families to the appropriate interdisciplinary team member for identified health education needs Maintaining compliance and ensuring all 0185 series staff at SAVAHCS, licensed and unlicensed staff, are correctly classified and either under a Scope of Practice, privileged, or are working toward licensure and adhering to all state and VA regulations Maintaining all recruitment, vacancy and turnover data and reporting to Chief, Social Work Service, facility, VISN and national leadership as needed Tracking and reporting on productivity for Social Workers practicing in all settings Monitoring all changes in VHA licensing rules and informing all staff of such changes Ensuring ongoing peer review processes are in place and performed timely, consistently tracking and reporting data to social work leadership, and collaborating with Education/Training Coordinator to ensure professional development objectives and learning needs are met Performing other duties as assigned Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
