JOB SUMMARY: Assists the Logistics Manager with ensuring that quality, coordinated patient transfers are secured for all applicable patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital. Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education. Provides input into evaluation of Bed Management staff performance in accordance with organization policies. Participates in Quality Improvement programs. Assists with unit administration, including scheduling, payroll and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Maintains and role models clinical skills necessary to prioritize patient transfer and enable safe, appropriate LOC to patients. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care in collaboration with care tea
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey. Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 24 months experience in a critical care or step down setting or Case Management experience in similar areas. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
