Did you get into nursing to make a big impact on others’ lives? Are you called to do this work? Are you the kind of nurse who enjoys developing relationships while treating patients? We are as well and would love to have you read more about us and our open position to see if we are a great match.
For us, our name says it all. We’re a small, but growing company that is truly in our community creating change. We get hands on-experience with our patients and their families as we nurse them back to their fullest potential.
We seek two Pediatric RN’s to join our team, one Full-time and one Part-time. Both positions offer flexibility with scheduling.
We treat patients all throughout the greater Washington DC & Baltimore area, but the position we are hiring for will primarily see patients in Prince George’s County.
We are looking to hire Pediatric RN’s who are very personable and love listening (yes, listening) as they teach and educate family members and caregivers.
We are all team players here at Hands That Touch. We communicate with each other on a daily basis in a respectful manner that avoids gossip and encourages a positive workplace morale. Punctuality and patient safety are our top priorities.
A hard-working, knowledgeable nurse will excel in this position and have the opportunity for a pay raise if all agreed upon benchmarks are achieved in the first 90-days of employment. What happens if you keep hitting those benchmarks? Another industry-competitive pay raise is yours after 6 months!
This job is often fast-paced and definitely not for slackers. It’s not uncommon for one of our RN’s to see as many as 4-5 different patients per day. Strong time-management skills are a must and performance expectations are achievable, but admittedly challenging.
Dealing with an illness/injury is a stressful situation for our patients & their families. Interested applicants should possess excellent “people-skills," a warm bedside manner and always do their best to avoid confrontation with the patient & their caregivers.
Benefits include FREE financial peace seminars, healthcare reimbursement, tuition assistance towards Case Manager Board Certification, ample vacation time, maternity & bereavement leave and even annual BONUSES!
So, come on A+ players! Get in on the ground floor of a company that has room for growth, the opportunity for promotions, and full-time benefits.
