At Penn State Health, St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Reading, the Director of Surgical Services, RN is responsible for the operation of the Surgery Serviceds by directing, planning and overseeing staff in the provision of patient care in support of facility goals and mission. He/she acts as a catalyst between administration, physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.
– Graduate from an NLN accredited School of Nursing. – Bachelor’s degree (BSN) required, MSN or equivalent preferred.
– Three to five years OR, Surgery Center, or Surgical Services experience required.
– Registered Nurse as licensed by state.
