Texas NeuroRehab Center (TNC) provides complex medical and brain injury rehab, chemical dependency treatment for adults and neuropsychiatric treatment for youth. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents and adults facing difficult challenges.
Texas NeuroRehab Center is currently accepting applications for a Master's Level Therapist in the Child and Adolescent Program- PRN.Â The candidate selected will be expected to fulfill a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Participates in the admission conferences in cooperation with unit Clinical Case Manager and communicates pertinent information to family, payer, and/or external case managers.
Assists the treatment team in coordination of patient programs and in developing a discharge plan for each patient.
Maintains an awareness of funding sources needs and status, and assists Clinical Case Manager where necessary.
Provides psychosocial assessment of patients and consultation regarding treatment issues.
Provides individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
Documents all clinical services provided.
Continuously improves clinical skills.
Maintains professional demeanor in dress, attitude, support of unit milieu, and hospital mission and philosophy.
Maintains mandatory training as required of the position.
