Shift Details: Full time, 1\.0\. Exempt\. 8 hour day shifts\. Mon\.\-Fri\. \(8:00 a\.m\.\-4:30 p\.m\.\)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required\.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing or healthcare related field required\. Candidateswithout a Bachelor's Degree may apply and will be considered, but will berequired to complete a Bachelor's Degree within three years from date of hireinto the position\.
Three years recent inpatient acute care registered nurse clinical experience required\.
Case Management, discharge planning or utilization review experience required\.
Leadership experience required\.
Current WA State Registered Nurse Licensure required\.
CCM Certification required within six months from date of hire into the position\.
CurrentAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required\.
Bi\-lingual or multi\-lingual skills preferred\.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As aClinical Resource Management Coordinatoryou willassist with planning, leading and organizing activities and staff for the Clinical Resource Department; Collaborates with other members of the health care team to identify appropriate utilization of resources, facilitate reimbursement; and utilizes criteria to confirm medical necessity for admission and continued stay\.
Organizes, coordinates and monitors daily operations and activities of the Clinical Resource Management Department to ensure standard work, general office practices, compliance principles and departmental objectives are met on a daily basis\.
Collaborates with Human Resources on personnel issues including completing requisitions, interviewing, hiring, and following hospital policy on constructive counseling and progressive discipline\.
Insures appropriate staff competencies are maintained \(licensure, certification, orientation, mandatory training continuing education\)\.
Provides leadership and ongoing assessment to promote an environment of quality services affirming all assigned staff receivesappropriate orientation, training and continuing education\.
Develops metrics to measure and report improvement in areas of quality, accuracy and compliance\.
Assists the Manager with the preparation of departmental budgets, and monitors and controls expenses within the budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and cost consciousness\.
